Looking for something a little more unique for your morning cup of coffee? Santa Fe has a range of locally owned shops and cafes to choose from, and we have compiled a short list of our favorites!

Downtown Subscription

If you’re on Canyon Road exploring Gallery Wild and other galleries that make up the vibrant art scene, Downtown Subscription is a walkable local favorite! Tucked away off the main road, with high ceilings and rotating artists featured on the walls, this shop has plenty of regulars who come in daily for the delicious coffee and ambiance. With plenty of seating inside and a great selection of magazines and reading material, they also have a gorgeous patio for soaking up the New Mexico sunshine during warm months.

Crash Murder Business

With an amusing name, Crash Murder Business offers unexpected but addicting flavors for a truly unique coffee experience. Every aspect of this small shop is carefully curated, from the high quality ingredients to the interior design, and seasonal specialty drinks will introduce you to combinations you won’t find anywhere else.

Ohori's Coffee Roasters

This shop roasts their own beans in small batches with dedication to quality and flavor. If you’re looking for a no frills, impeccably brewed cup of joe, this is where you will find it. You can take home a bag of beans selected from their extensive menu of curated roasts, and get a free small cup of coffee with it! There are a couple of locations as well, making it easier to get to from different parts of town.

Cafecito

This cafe serves an assortment of tasty food and deserts in addition to coffee and hot mate. The blend of Argentine, Armenian, and Spanish cuisines offers a unique culinary option in Santa Fe’s food scene. The space is inviting with large windows and lots of plants that soak up the light and give a freshness to the environment. From empanadas to a fantastic selection of wines, Cafecito is an excellent choice from morning to evening.

Dolina Cafe and Bakery

Offering some of the most satisfying brunch in town, Dolina’s menu includes Eastern European dishes alongside a fantastic breakfast burrito, chicken and waffles, and fresh baked goods that have locals filling up the cozy cafe all year round. Many of their ingredients are sourced from a local organic farm that works in tandem with the restaurant for quality you can taste.

The Teahouse

Another great option for those walking up Canyon Road exploring the galleries, The Teahouse is an ideal place to stop for food and drinks while taking a moment to rest and recharge. The interior feels like stepping into a cozy home, comforting and unpretentious. Their selection of teas and coffee drinks will have you trying new things and admiring the curation of high quality options. Enjoy food with your beverage inside or out under the apricot trees in warmer months.
